Here is Suspicious Observers’ excellent video on the consecutive solar flares described in my last two blogs …

Note that he mentions these probabilities …

• Major grid impact … 25-30% probability
• Global loss … 10% probability [I feel he may be referring to a Carrington event]

I thought earlier the global loss probability might be a 5% chance. Suspicious Observers (SO) is very well respected in Space Weather circles. I feel his thoughts on this topic are well worth considering.

I further note that Pete Riley of Predictive Science, San Diego, CA, in 2012 calculated the probability of a Carrington event in the next 10 years at approximately 12%; here is the paper …

Note that he offers a Disaster Prediction App for those with handhelds … This looks like a great product.

There is still time to buy canned food and gallons of water for your kitchen cabinet; it is always good to be prepared, especially when there is plenty of advance warning, as there was today.

PS: The music at the end of Suspicious Observers’ video seems like “the dance of the solar devi” does it not? (In occult lore, solar devi (devas) are purported to be the angelic beings that create solar flares.)
