Dear Ones,

Here is an image depicting a wave of social unrest that I as an intuitive feel to be cresting Interstate 405 in Van Nuys, California, just past the Van Nuys City Hall, and heading, little by little, west towards the ocean.

We people of Los Angeles must do what we can to calm the waters, to stem the tide of social unrest, to house the homeless, and to make sure all Angelenos have enough to eat and a means of making enough money to care for their families.

Let us stand together in these times of change, with a positive attitude and a determination to help our people see their way through, till each and every one of us may get through this Solar Cycle 25, and the Solar Maximum in which we now find ourselves.

Let it be our vision and our intention that all humankind find firm footing in New Life on New Earth.

Dear Ones,

On the astral plane, and also in a news article quite some years ago, I heard about a father who ‘acted out’ the metaphor ‘put him on the hot seat’ by placing his toddler son in a sitting position on a hot stove burner.

I take this to be additional support for my theory that the language of the subconscious mind is one of metaphor and image words, which have the danger of being ‘acted out’ in the physical realm when people are in the grips of emotions such as great anger or great fear or great grief … emotions so great that the conscious mind cannot maintain control of one’s actions.

I skimmed through the movie ‘Take Shelter’ the other day …

I find the movie interesting because the recurring images experienced by the male protagonist seem like what I term ‘image words’ from the gut brain (the subconscious mind’s vocabulary). It is good how the ending shows that a family can stand together and shelter in faith in each other, and love of each other, even if the subconscious mind is creating what the Ascensioneers call ‘vivid waking dreams’, in the case of the movie, more like vivid waking nightmares.

The movie also shows how one person’s fearful ‘mental filter’ (that of the husband in the movie) can influence another person (in this case the wife) to take on the same ‘mental filter’.

As a phenomenon, the tendency of the human mind to broadcast mental filters can be either good or bad. The difference has to do with the tenor of the emotional portion of the images that are broadcast. Is the emotion negative or positive? That is the key to the effect that broadcasting of one’s own mental filters has on other people.

For instance, in the movie ‘Take Shelter’ one of the visually striking images that recur in the mind of the male protagonist is a ‘murmuration’ of birds, perhaps starlings or sparrows. This is an aerial phenomenon rather like the simultaneous turning and wheeling motion of schools of fish in the water …

In the movie ‘Take Shelter’, the male protagonist feels a recurring anxious feeling, a feeling of  foreboding. It is, I feel, because of the negative tenor of his emotion that he takes his recurring image of a murmuration of dark-colored birds to be an omen of impending apocalypse.

Yet many people see a murmuration of birds, and feel joy or wonderment when they see it. Such is the case with the young women in this video …

It is clear, then, that it is the feeling that accompanies visualization of an image that causes its perception as a good image or a bad image.

When a person has recurring images popping up from the subconscious mind, and when these images are accompanied by a strongly negative emotion … one that is hard to deal with without ‘acting out’ … then psychologists might term that condition Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (as with COVID stress). Or they might term it ‘generalized anxiety’; or if the emotions get out of hand, they might term it ‘panic attack’. There is also the psychological term ‘paranoid schizophrenia’, which I gather might be a label for recurring ‘panic attacks’ as in the movie.

Broadcasting of mental filters has a good effect in cases where a person’s mental filters allow him to send forth uplifting images from the subconscious mind. In these instances, families or groups such as social circles and church congregations can stand together with courage against adversity.

Broadcasting of mental filters has a bad effect in cases such as that in the movie, where the protagonist’s fearful mental images cause his wife to become fearful, and cause his Ohio small town community to turn against him and label him mentally imbalanced. Broadcasting of negatively aspected mental filters can, I feel, cause what is termed ‘folie à deux’, ‘folie à famille’, ‘folie à coterie’ (that is, a delusion shared by two people, by a family, or by a small group); or in the case of crowds of people, ‘mass hysteria’. The latter may take place across a town, or across a nation, or even … due to the near-instantaneous nature of global communication … worldwide, as is the case with COVID fears.

Please do not misunderstand: It is not that we ought not take proper precautions regarding COVID; it is just that negatively aspected images to do with COVID can cause inappropriate actions … or no action at all, when action is in fact needed so as to preserve life. For instance, it may well be that COVID vaccines are a ‘hard sell’ worldwide because people are experiencing ‘fawn’, ‘freeze’, or ‘flop’ types of threat responses after taking in too much in the way of online images that cause them to feel the emotion of fear regarding COVID.

In cases where a person is affected by other people’s broadcasting of negatively aspected mental filters (such as with the relentless COVID newscasts last year), the person must learn to view negatively aspected mental images with a neutral mind, as does the male protagonist in the movie ‘Take Shelter’. Through cutting down on visual intake of negative images … for instance, by limiting one’s viewing of negative images online … anxiety about the future can be dealt with nonreactively. Or one may simply stand strong and still, while the image is visualized, until the negative feeling ebbs away.

That means to me that the true ‘shelter’ for one’s mind is a strong, still, neutral stance of mind despite the ups and downs of daily life.

INTRODUCTION

The language of the subconscious mind is very physical. The way that it conceives things is like the way that an infant perceives the world. The imagery of the subconscious mind reflects primal joys, joys of the senses, primal fears related to the sensation of physical pain, and strong emotions.

Subconscious words convey an emotion; jubilation or dismay to do with the sensory perceptions of taste, touch, temperature, kinesthesia, sight, and the senses of smell and sound, and the instinct to flee from pain.

The subconscious translates the words that our conscious minds concoct into its own terms, according to its own way of perceiving the world around it. It has no means of grasping abstract concepts, except through visual imagery and sensation.

In my experience, without exception, the sounds that the conscious mind uses as nouns (often words or sets of homonyms that convey both abstract and concrete meanings) are morphed by the subconscious mind into ‘image words’. These are still images (or else ultra-short videoclips) to which is attached high emotional affect.

It is image words that constitute the vocabulary of the subconscious mind. It might be an image of a person falling, along with a feeling of dismay. It might be a picture of a house with windows closed and a scent of mildew, as the subconscious often portrays the human body as a house. It might be an image of a physical injury being inflicted, along with a feeling of agony. It might be an image of a sexual organ, along with a very good or a very bad emotion. It might be a vision of a woman’s breast, and a feeling of fullness in the stomach.

As well, the subconscious mind may use ‘image words’ to represent complex conscious concepts absorbed through rote learning of metaphors and proverbs during the early childhood socialization process. It is the imaginal, emotive nature of metaphors and proverbs that makes them such facile aids in bridging the gap between the subconscious mind of the infant and the various stages of conscious mind development that occur from the end of infancy through puberty.

Other devices that bridge this gap are story, song, and rhyme. Thus, a subconscious ‘image word’ may represent the title of a story or song, or it may represent a character in a song or story that carries one kernel of meaning together with strong emotive content. Or it might represent one image in a rhyme that carries a certain meaning and emotion.

Our dreams are stories told by the subconscious mind using subconscious ‘image words’ representing homonyms, metaphors, proverbs, story, song, and rhyme. If we understand the rules by which the subconscious translates these devices of the conscious mind to subconscious ‘image words’, then it becomes quite easy, just after waking up each morning, to dream journal, and then render a ‘reverse translation’ … from the lingo of the subconscious mind, to the parlance of the conscious mind.

In that way we can discover the hidden tangles in our subconscious minds, the repressed memories and repressed emotions stored here and there in our bodies … in this muscle, or that layer of fascia, or over there, in a nerve ending.

Below is a drawing of an ‘image word’ phrase I heard on the astral plane just recently. It was spoken by ‘Bespeller – Voodoo Man’, who appears in the ‘astral airs’ to resemble the famous artist Gustav Dore …

As to whether this may in actuality be so, I cannot say. By astral hunch I surmise that ‘Bespeller – Voodoo Man’ apparently may be a Sorcerer working with the killing cult of the late ‘Black Magicker’ here in Los Angeles …

Setting all that aside, I feel it possible the image word illustrated below may be at the root of the practice the Black Magicker’s group has of killing wealthy women who are lay members of their congregation so as to fatten their coffers. The subconscious mixup of the word ‘pray‘ with the image of a ‘preying mantis’ may create the underlying, unconscious conviction that ‘preying upon’ the congregation by monks or pastors who spend their life in ‘prayer’ may be warranted.

When I saw this image on the psychic plane I was spooked out right thoroughly. The image seemed to be imbued with a mysterious, dark power. I thought to myself: Could it be there is a Mantid Race’ … a hostile alien astral species … that preys upon humankind? In my heart I guess that might be so, but the thought is such a spook out that I prefer not to put it out there too forthrightly. As a compromise measure, I offer the below as an addition to our list of Image Words …
