COMMENT: As Balaam (right) was adversary to God’s angelic messenger (left), that Balaam’s simple ass saw to bar his erring path, so is Satan the adversary of our own angelic guardians. As Balaam aligned with King Balak in tempting the Israelites to sexual immorality and sacrificing to idols (Revelation 2:14), so do the inner circles of some modern-day societies secretly entice the innocent Christian to err. Some such societies worship Lucifer as ‘bringer of Light’ to humankind; but that Light which Lucifer brings is false. The safe path for a Christian lies in alignment with the Mind and Heart and Will of God. I pray we, as Christians, may clearly discern the true Light of Christ consciousness from the seeming light of the demon realm.
In the last two decades I have run across two spiritual groups that appear forthright, but harbor ‘inner circles’ with apparently Satanic aims kept secret from those members who are not greatly favored.
One of the groups used to hold its meetings on the grounds of Catholic retreat centers in Los Angeles and on the East Coast; that is why I initially thought they were ok. I went from another secret society to them for protection from the entities I felt might be invoked to injure me by the inner circle of the first group.
What followed was a great disaster for me, in a spiritual context, as the first secret society forged an alliance with the head of the second secret society, and what I intuited to be demonic attempts at incursion intensified over the subsequent 3 years.
I went to the Catholic Church itself for protection against the second secret society. In the first three such attempts I could not get their ear. In the fourth attempt members of the first secret society … or people resembling them … began to appear on the church grounds. Consequently I have not felt safe when on the grounds for the past year. I wrote to the pastor and explained my concerns, but I feel there must still be some connection, some person or people still frequenting the grounds who must be aligned with one of those secret societies that seemed to cause me so much grief over the years.
I understand how members may have ingratiated themselves, as I was also conned by the outward appearance of normality of the members of the society. That they might have had a secret Satanic aspect completely shocked me, when I began to intuit it some years later. I had never run into a society with a Satanic aspect before. It took me a long time to figure out what was going on.
Today I thought I would read up on the stance of the Catholic Church on societies like those I had apparently run into. I read in Wikipedia that the Catholic Church bans Freemasonry and ‘secret societies’ …

But what does the Catholic Church mean by ‘secret societies’, I wondered? I found out about that here …

I read with interest there the description of the Knights Templar of old, who professed Christianity but were found to be pagans. In the 1300s their order was dissolved by papal decree …

I note with interest the founding of a new Knights Templar order by one of the men I thought I saw on my church grounds last year. I wonder if it might be that the new Knights Templar order falls under the Catholic church’s ban on secret societies? …

That man I had first encountered about two decades priorly as a member of the first of the secret societies from which I had escaped. I no longer see him listed amongst the officers … https://www.knightstemplar.org/officers.html … but I do see listed a ‘David Dixon Goodwin’, who resembles the Jesuit Father Greg Boyle, Founder of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles …

Whether the similarity of appearance is intentional or coincidental I cannot say. If it were intentional … and I am not advising whether that may be so … but if it were intentional, then it might fall under a sort of black magic curse of mimicry that seems to be popping up here in Los Angeles in recent years.
For instance, I have run across, on the physical plane, a few instances of ‘actor impersonators’ pretending to be Christians, but with energy fields that gave me pause. For more on this odd phenomenon, please see my blog category: Mimicry
From the little I have read, I feel it may be that Jesuit Superior General Fr. Arturo Sosa has described for the news media a ‘tone it down’ interpretation of what Satan is …
Link: “Jesuit Superior General: Satan Is a Symbolic Reality,” by Catholic News Agency, 22 August 2019, in Angelus … https://angelusnews.com/faith/jesuit-superior-general-satan-is-a-symbolic-reality/ ..
From the article, it seems to me his stance may be that Satan is a tendency toward evil expressed in organizations, rather than a person. Of course, I must agree: Satan is not a person; clearly that is so. I think of Satan as a Fallen Angel who may one day, during the Ascension process, rise to the Angelic Realm again.
That feeling I have that Satanic energy may one day soon dissolve in the Incoming Light will not help me walk my church grounds safely, though, I feel, as those who engage in Satanic practices carry an energy that causes great mischief to the innocent Christian heart.
What can be done, in this secular age, to warn the parents and children in our Christian congregations what local societies … appearing innocent … might have secret Satanic practices? I beg our Los Angeles Christian churches to take up this topic for consideration.
In love, light and joy,
I Am of the Stars
