All right, here is the sign in the trees: We have a tree that is standing upright, very courageously; and another tree that decided to bend with the breeze and take life easy. You can see it seems to be just about as happy, and full of green life, as the tree that is doing sentinel duty right beside it.

This is the faerie glen here … the faerie ‘forest’, I guess, is the better word. And untrammeled by human footsteps these days, because the access road was completely demolished by a spring flood one time, I guess. No one can get up here without a tremendous amount of trouble … or ‘down there’, in this case.
