Dear Ones,

I have found very interesting information on nature spirits amongst the writings of the School of Theosophy. For some of this, one must go to the source, as it is still under copyright. As well, I have found a good source of information, from C.W. Leadbeater of the School of Theosophy, regarding the nature spirits, that is in the public domain. In the below excerpt, I have bolded what seemed more important from my own perspective …

Alice’s Perilous Tales: Fatal Dungeons and Dragons Game? . by Alice B. Clagett

Dear Ones,

INTRODUCTION      top

In the year 2015 I vacationed in Durango, Colorado. For some while I had had an uneasy feeling I was being stalked. In the years 2009 and on, as I grieved over my mother’s death, it had been a vague feeling, an occasional heads up, to be very aware of my surroundings and whether there might be dangers to avoid.

But that year in Durango, it became a clear and present concern. It became evident to me I was being hunted by a serial killer … or so it seemed to me at the time. Why I had been marked, and who the stalker was, remained a mystery. It could be there never is a rational reason for such a thing.

The events that unfolded for me in 2015 through 2017 were ably and uncannily portrayed the following year in the movie “Unsane,” which mirrored the stark terror and sense of remorseless pursuit I felt as the intended victim of a serial killer …

Video: “Unsane | Official Trailer #1 | 2018,” by 20th Century Studios UK, 29 January 2018 …  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SyWnHdHrlrw ..

I guess it must have been that stalking by serial killers was ‘in the air’ during those years 2015 through 2017, and that the 2018 movie helped clear the astral airs and settle the Dark energy thread I had been sensing. Whatever the context, here is my tale of some of my ‘close encounters’ during those years …

ALICE’S PERILOUS TALES: SIGHTING AT NAVAJO STATE PARK IN COLORADO      top

I was at Navajo State Park southeast of Durango, Colorado, a place I often visited. I sighted a man who seemed to be wearing a beard he had fabricated of public hairs. When he drove into the parking lot of the less developed campground there, I felt a sense of mortal peril, and quickly took evasive action. Here is the spine-tingling tale …

ALICE’S PERILOUS TALES: SIGHTING IN GRANTS, NEW MEXICO      top

That was not the first time I had run into the man with the pubic hair beard. Prior to that I had spotted him in the parking lot of a Motel 6 in Grants, New Mexico.

He was sitting in one of two big, brightly colored road maintenance vehicles, each used to haul two backhoes maybe orange in color. He was wearing a fake, black, bushy goatee. It seemed to me that I recognized him from several other occasions; he seemed to be someone I had met, only wearing an improbable disguise and sitting in an equally improbable vehicle.

As I recall, that was on 18 June 2015; I was on my way to Espanola, New Mexico, for the summer solstice celebration there. I called right away and informed law enforcement in Grants about my concern, but by the time they got to the motel, the road equipment and the man with the fake black goatee were gone.

Why the people and equipment would have taken off in the late afternoon, I do not know. I usually do the opposite; I arrive at a motel in late afternoon with intent to spend the night. Mysterious stuff was going on.

I recall two other vehicles disappeared from the Motel 6 parking lot simultaneous with the road maintenance vehicles late that afternoon … one was a pickup truck holding a dune buggy. Another was a sedan with Los Angeles license plates that had been parked by a man or men renting the motel room just beneath that which I had priorly booked. The Los Angeles sedan was, as I recall, the only vehicle parked on that side of the building when I checked in. Could be it was a rental car; and most likely this was a just a coincidence …

ALICE’S PERILOUS TALES: THE ROCKING BUS WITH THE GIZMOS ON TOP      top

After the road maintenance vehicles had left the Motel 6 parking lot, a converted schoolbus pulled into their spot alongside the motel fence. I could see the vehicle from the window of the second-floor motel room to which I had changed. It was painted oddly … was it blue, or grey? … The windows were painted over too. On the roof of the bus were several disc-shaped gizmos about four feet in diameter.

Later in the evening I had the oddest feeling of inhospitable incoming energy waves. I wondered if the gizmos on the bus might be emitting short-wave energy? Why would that possibly be, I wondered?  Were they broadcasting something, maybe? Looking out the window of my room, I could see the school bus bouncing … bouncing?! … up and down. I thought I could hear the muffled voices of women chanting inside the bus. There was a thickish ‘shimmer’ of energy in the air above the bus. How surpassingly strange this was!

The next day I headed off to Espanola, New Mexico, intending to participate in the 3HO Summer Solstice event that takes place every year there. I recall I got to my location uneventfully. The parking lot is a high desert meadow; when I parked there I noticed the same bus with the inverted discs on top of it, parked in the lot.

That was a heads up for me, and a first in the many years I had been to the Summer Solstice event. It turned out to be a reasonable omen, as a Dark Attack unfolded in the next hour that made me forfeit my event fee in favor of timely escape to safety …

Link: “Summer Solstice 2015: A Mahabharata Vision,” by Alice B. Clagett, filmed on 21 June 2015; revised on 25 November 2017 and 23 April 2020 … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-6KQ … see the heading: A MAHABHARATA VISION AT SUMMER SOLSTICE 2015

The incident I described in the blog section “A MAHABHARATA VISION AT SUMMER SOLSTICE 2015” may have had to do with the painted bus with gizmos on the roof. That explanation seems quite a reach to me, though. I prefer the notion of a solar event … maybe a strong solar wind, or an incoming coronal mass ejection … which has more of heaven than hell in the telling of it.

I have written a little more about this here …

ALICE’S PERILOUS TALES: TWO OMINOUS ‘MOVIE CREW’ ENCOUNTERS      top

The mysterious events that unfolded in Grants, New Mexico, and Espanola, New Mexico, were not two of a kind, but rather two of a series of physical incidents that took place both before and after summer 2015.

Here, for instance, are two such perilous tales that took place in greater Los Angeles after the Grants and Espanola capers. The first took place in Fish Canyon Narrows near Santa Clarita, and the second in Malibu Creek State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains …

In both instances a group of automobiles full of people showed up just after I arrived at usually relatively deserted trailheads I planned to hike. These batches of automobiles somehow reminded me of movie crews, which are often seen filming here in Southern California.

In most cases, movie crews are accompanied by trailers for makeup or to provide food for the crews, but in these instance there were no trailers; thus I may have been mistaken in thinking the incidents had to do with the entertainment industry.

29-Flavor Barbecue?

One instance of what might have been a movie actor run-in happened on 23 April 2016. It had to do with what seemed to be two rangers, or maybe forest workers, who parked off Templin Highway near Castaic, California, close to the Fish Canyon Narrows trailhead which leads to the abandoned Cienaga Campground. Here are photos of the men’s vehicles, and also of my white vehicle and a blue car that parked there …

Clagett, 23 April 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0 … DESCRIPTION: These vehicles were parked where hikers park to hike the Fish Canyon Narrows trailhead, north of Castaic Lake, California.

When I saw these two men I had an odd feeling, so I asked them if it was safe to hike the trail. They said that I would probably be safe, but that I ought to be careful. That was a partial ‘heads up’ for me. Here is a photo of the vehicle driven by one of the men with whom I talked ….

Clagett, 23 April 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0 … DESCRIPTION: As I recall, this was the vehicle driven by one of the men I talked with about whether nearby Fish Canyon Narrows trail was safe to hike.

DESCRIPTION: As I recall, this was the vehicle driven by one of the men I talked with about whether nearby Fish Canyon Narrows trail was safe to hike.

As I turned to hike down to the trailhead, maybe 10 cars packed with people went past me. I had never seen any traffic to speak of on that road, which is usually as deserted as it was in this photo taken that day …

Image: “Intersection of Templin Highway and Los Angeles City Water and Power Road, Los Angeles County,” by Alice B. Clagett, 23 April 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0 … DESCRIPTION: Foreground: Templin Highway. Far left: Locked gate that allows access to Fish Canyon Narrows trailhead, north of Castaic Lake, California, but prevents access by most vehicular traffic. To the left of the locked gate, and not visible in the photos, is the parking area for hikers. Top center: Los Angeles City Water and Power Road. This road goes down along the west side of Tailrace Canal and Elderberry Forebay, then east to the intersection of Goodell Fire Road. The latter runs along the east side of Tailrace Canal, Elderberry Forebay, and the northern portion of Castaic Lake.

The experience of many cars packed with people arriving just after I did somehow set me on guard. So I thought I would wait for awhile, and see ‘how the wind blew’.

As I waited, I had the strangest astral vision … like an omen … of a film crew in a wilderness setting, with actors, male and female, sitting around a lifeless female body, preparing for a cannibal act featuring 29 flavors of barbecue sauce.

Then I saw this damaged street sign by the road, which somehow seemed to reinforce the ‘ill wind’ I had sensed …

Image: “Damaged Road Sign by Templin Highway Near the Intersection of Templin Highway and Los Angeles City Water and Power Road, Los Angeles County,” by Alice B. Clagett, 23 April 2016, CC BY-SA 4.0 … DESCRIPTION: This road sign was by Templin Highway north of Castaic Lake, California. That was close to the Fish Canyon Narrows trailhead.

Yikes! Was I ever suddenly ‘on guard’.

After awhile, all the cars, still loaded with people, came back up the hill and went away. I know it was not much to go on … just a few odd details of that day … but these days I have become more observant of what might be termed signs and omens. So I gave up on that hike and went off to another trailhead.

The title of this poem I composed some years later had to do with the vision I had that day while playing the ‘waiting game’ at my parking place off Templin Highway …

The person described in the poem, however, was part of a different astral saga.

Franciscan Capuchin Friars or Actors?

Another instance took place on 12 June 2017 in one of the parking areas of Malibu Creek State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains. The lead-up to the event was like this …

Lead-Up to the Event. In the year 2016, I had been encountering people behaving strangely across the road from Malibu Creek State Park, on the grounds of King Gillette Ranch, Calabasas, California, which is the property of the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority.

The Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center, which is managed by the park services that have to do with the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, is located on the grounds of King Gillette Ranch.

Movie crews often film movies at both King Gillette Ranch and Malibu Creek State Park. It seemed possible to me that their presence at these two adjacent parks might have had something to do with what unfolded.

In 2016 I had encountered a chatty, somewhat overweight, middle-aged visitor to the Anthony C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center. He said he was a photographer and that he was well known to the people at King Gillette Ranch.

His feeling … his emotional affect … was ‘in front of him’; it seemed to me he was compelled to action, and that action might have been sexual in nature. Or so it seemed. That is to say, I got the intuitive ‘heads up’ about this person, who seemed to be following me up the hiking trail after I left the Visitor Center. When the man started to take a shortcut across a meadow to intersect me, I doubled back towards the maintenance station on the grounds.

Outside the maintenance station I encountered a man I presumed to be the ranger there; that man sternly told me that taking photos on the grounds was prohibited. It seemed to me he was defending the other man, who had tried to intersect me, and of whom I felt afraid. It seemed as if he was demanding I not take a photo of that man. Further, I had never heard about a rule that a person cannot take photographs on Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority parkland. Thus his behavior seemed eccentric to me … out of place, in a way.

Then when I got back to my car I saw a tall, spare, middle-aged man with a telephoto lens. He opened his car trunk, which was completely empty and spiffily clean, and put the camera in the trunk. Then he left.

I cannot quite put my finger on it, but I was spooked by the behavior of these three people. A few days later I went to Malibu Creek State Park, and spoke with the young man who staffed the entry kiosk about my concerns. That man said he thought it had to do with cocaine use at that time.

………………..
Sidebar: Just Say No! to Drug Use in Malibu Creek State Park and at King Gillette Ranch      top

As time went on, I contacted LAPD (the Los Angeles Police Department) about possible cocaine use at King Gillette Ranch and at Malibu Creek State Park. I remember talking to a male ranger behind the desk at C. Beilenson Interagency Visitor Center about my concern that cocaine not be used in Santa Monica Mountains parklands. I recall the ranger did not take it so well; he looked taken aback.

Nevertheless, I feel it is good to express our concern in this regard; I encourage all the Sierra Club members to do so. For instance, I have often see empty marijuana vials in the picnic areas near the Malibu Creek Rock Pools. If drinking alcohol in the parks is not allowed, then along that same line of thought, I feel it reasonable not to allow drug use, whether marijuana or cocaine or other recreational drugs. Some may disagree, but that is my stance on the issue.

We ought to keep our parks safe for our campers and hikers, and for family outings. I read there was a murder at the campground at Malibu Creek State Park on 22 June 2018, and that the campground has been closed since then. Were there no drug use on park lands, perhaps that and similar acts of violence might have been averted, I feel.

………………..

Sighting of a Movie Crew and Men Dressed as Friars. The main event along these lines took place on 12 June 2017 in Malibu Creek State Park in the Santa Monica Mountains.

I drove up to the entry kiosk of Malibu Creek State Park, intending to go for a hike. I was apprehensive (whether justifiably so or not) about movie crews and other folks possibly acting weirdly because they were on cocaine. I asked the ranger manning the kiosk whether any movie crews were filming there that day. The ranger said no, that the park was nearly deserted that day.

I paid my entrance fee and began to drive past the first parking lot. As I did so, a caravan of ten or more cars drove past the entry kiosk. As I had never encountered such a big caravan of cars there, I pulled over to see what might be up.

Most of the cars pulled into the first parking lot. I could see there were both men and women getting out of the cars. I saw several women who were middle-aged, but with very nice figures; I thought they might have been actors in their early years, and might now be working as film crew. I wondered if this might be a movie crew from across the road at King Gillette Ranch?

The front car from the caravan continued along the road towards the campground. I noticed with a chilling feeling the Caucasian man riding shotgun, whose long, lanky, sunburned forearm was resting on the sill of the open, passenger-side window of the car.

It reminded me of the forearm of a man on the passenger side of a silver Volvo, license plate #5LUF325, that loitered in front of my house while I was at a Joshua Tree concert on 9 September 2016. As I recall, the driver of the car that loitered near my house more than six feet tall and well-built; I could not see, though, what the man driving the car in Malibu Creek State Park looked like. Here are the photos of the loitering vehicle (Topanga LAPD were called about it back then) …

Image: “Silver Toyota Sedan – License Plate #5LUF325,” second photo taken on 9 September 2016 … CC??

Mulling over the caravan and the man’s arm, I went and parked in the second parking lot. There I encountered three men dressed as friars. This was so unusual, in my experience of hiking Malibu Creek, that I took a snapshot of them, then abandoned my idea of hiking and left the park with cautious haste …

Just after that, I photographed these men near the restroom in the lower parking lot for hikers. I searched online and found Capuchin Franciscan clothing for sale, so these may not have been bona fide monks, but only men dressed as monks.

Back home I hoped to solve the mystery of the friars at Malibu Creek State Park. Here is what I found out through an online search …

It appeared they were wearing Franciscan Capuchin Friar outfits. There is no such monastery nearby, so I wrote to the Franciscan Capuchin Friars near San Francisco, to find out whether they might identify my photo of the men I saw, but I never heard back from them about it.

I also checked into Franciscan Capuchin Friar outfits, and found they are for sale online; that would fit with the notion of actors, or a movie crew.

HYPOTHESIS OF THE FATAL DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS GAME      top

The odd events of 2015 to 2017 led me to the notion that I was being stalked by a cocaine addict. Who could this man be, I wondered? To what end, I asked myself?

These repetitive close encounters of a perilous nature led me to posit I might have been marked as the victim in a fatal Dungeons and Dragons Meetup Game originating in Los Angeles, possibly amongst male actors or men aspiring to be actors. I recall wondering if such a meetup might have been started by unemployed actors as an inexpensive way to produce Indie snuff films.

Tie-in to Dylan Redwine Murder Mystery

I began to wonder: Might the odd events I experienced have been related to the mysterious death of Dylan Redwine near Durango, Colorado? For more on this hypothesis, see …

Link: “Compendium: Dylan Redwine Murder Mystery – Child Torture for Snuff Film Industry?” by Alice B. Clagett, published on 22 February 2020; revised on 23 April 2020 … https://wp.me/p2Rkym-gz4 ..

LOOKS LIKE MY STALKER HIGHTAILED IT!      top

I may never know whether my hypotheses of the Fatal Dungeons and Dragons Game and of Indie Snuff Film Capers were true, but I can say, with gratitude, that the feeling I was being stalked and that I was not safe in my own home came to a sudden end in December 2016, after my return to Los Angeles.

The occasion of this sudden change-up was the installation of a surveillance system in my home; from this I gathered that my stalker was a wanted man, who could not afford to have his face on camera.

In the ensuing two years, stalking issues in Los Angeles and while hiking became less and less of a concern. I feel this may have had to do with my no longer taking a cell phone with me when I went out. It is possible I was being tracked through some high-tech geolocation malware to do with my cell phone.
