I was viewing this video just, to do with the effects of yesterday’s solar storm …

Here’s the Kp index from the solar storm (which was only moderately severe), and had to do with influx of solar winds to Earth:

Nevertheless, these Earth events were apparently associated to the solar storm:

  • A global booking system failure for the airlines, resulting in massive flight delays (1)
  • A transformer fire, resulting in a power outage for 6,000 customers in Snohomish, WA (2)
  • A power outage on a train in the Philadelphia, PA, area, leading the travellers to self-evacuate (3)
  • Playstation went down again. This is a product of Virgin Media, a British internet services provider (4)

QUESTION: COULD THE AIRLINES BE COVERING UP FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS FAILURES CAUSED BY SOLAR STORMS?

When the airlines’ booking systems go down, I wonder if flight tower communications or aircraft flight management systems might also be down … If that were true, surely the airlines wouldn’t want to make this public? Could such a coverup be going on?

CIVILIAN AIRLINES FLIGHTS NO LONGER INCLUDE ENGINEERS OR NAVIGATORS

I read in Wikipedia that civilian airline flights no longer include flight engineers or navigators. Instead, these tasks are undertaken by airlines’ flight management systems (FMS), which depend upon GPS and INS, often with radio navigation backup. (5)

As to this airline radio navigation backup, I’ve read at SWPC/NOAA that geostorms can affect both high frequency and low frequency radio wave transmissions. (6)

Large commercial aircraft, in flight, use VHF (very high frequency) radio when near land, and short-wave nagivation while over the oceans (because they are then out of VHF radio range). (7)

Thus, it appears that all large commercial aircraft are at navigation risk from geostorm radio blackouts … whether they are over land, or over the ocean when the storm hits.

THE STATE OF eLORAN AS A BACKUP FOR GNSS FAILURE: IN THE WINGS, BUT NOT YET HERE

I’ve done some reading on eLORAN as a backup for failure of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS). It looks like there’s a proposal to get it up and running, and that this proposal has passed the House of Representatives:

As far as I can tell, this bill has yet to be approved by the Senate. On the other hand there is the good news that eLORAN and LORAN testing was underway in June 2017:

CARRINGTON EVENT LARGE AIRCRAFT IN-FLIGHT SCENARIO

Until eLORAN is available as a backup, then, to the extent that FMS rely on GNSS, then, they are set up for quite some difficulties should there be a Carrington event. Worst case scenario would be loss of many, or most, in-flight aircraft because of navigation failure during such an event.

Those large aircraft that succeeded in landing would be navigated down by eyesight, out of luck, since there would be no navigators onboard, if I understand it correctly? Then, air traffic control would also be down, so there would be a considerable hazard of collision with other large aircraft on landing.

On the other hand, small aircraft, which are used to piloting by sight, might be relatively ok to fly and land at small craft airports.

This video is on the relative value of self-mortification and penance, as contrasted to chanting God’s name and doing good works. There is an edited Summary after the video …

It could be that the habit of self-mortification has to do with the experience of being strictly punished in childhood. The Krampus tradition commemorates this. This is a folkloric tradition to do with punishment of children who have been naughty by a fearful being, half goat and half devil, named Krampus, at Christmas … and presents for good children from Saint Nicholas.

SUMMARY OF THE VIDEO

Hello, Dear Ones, It’s Alice. I Am of the Stars.

This is a little about the practice of self-mortification, or mortification of the flesh … flagellation of the flesh … that’s a theme in some of the religions of the world.

I just thought I’d explain that insult to the body cells … whether it be through self-mortification, or, say, from a physical accident or an auto accident … even falling down and scraping one’s knee in childhood … any kind of injury to the body cells, including interior injury, like, we might consume things, such as alcohol or recreational drugs, or different kinds of foods that are not appropriate for the optimum function of our bodies, and these foods might enter our cells as well, but especially external wounds like abrasions of the flesh, and broken bones, and so forth … but also internal wounds … things that we do to ourselves through the desire to fall asleep and not be aware, or to please our senses … for sense gratification, and so forth … that cause injury to the cells, cause them woe, these specific sites of injury to the physical cells … on the astral plane, these become landing sites for astral malware.

So then we become what they call ‘malwared up’. So in the process of evolution of the Soul, it becomes more and more important to treat the body as the temple of God’s grace … of what the Christians call ‘the Holy Spirit’.

And so we practice modulation of the diet, optimization of the food intake, and proper hydration. And in addition, we get plenty of rest … just as much as our body needs.

And as far as physical welfare is concerned, the last thing that we would think of is mortification of the flesh … because that decreases the joy in the body … the joy of the body cells. And it’s that joy that leads us onward to Soul evolution, and to the great discoveries of the truth of the nature of reality.

So my suggestion is, to set aside these techniques of self-mortification, and to look to diet and hydration and proper sleep. And then the result, during the ascension process, will be that there is far less emotional turmoil and mental turmoil. And far less physical difficulty than would otherwise be the case.

Just now, some people have asked me, on the astral plane, telepathically, why that is. Why should they not mortify the flesh? … since they’re subject to the Achilles heel effects of personality flaws, and of repeated habits that are very difficult … if not impossible … to overcome in physical form (such as child molestation, for instance).

And so these people’s feeling is that, by mortification of the flesh, they can substitute tit for tat … They do something that they don’t approve of, and that they’re unable to prevent, because of personality flaws … and then they mortify the flesh by way of reparation. By way of making good with God. By way of penance.

So my suggestion is … for those that believe in the process of penance … and are unable to overcome it, because there are better ways to overcome bad habits … that if you believe in penance, you do good works, or you repeat sacred words, so as to change the constitution of the body of light away from the dark, and into the light. So that then we become less prone to bad habits. So we’re doing something good. We’re not punishing ourselves.

The notion of punishing ourselves, so as to make ourselves better, is, in itself, a very pernicious form of malware.

So you could say, in Christian terms, that I believe in grace; and in ascension terms, in the Incoming Light, and in the Eastern Indian philosophy of Hinduism, I believe in dharma.

Dharma is the the opposite of karma. It’s the pursuit of the ‘right path’. And the ‘right path’ might include chanting God’s name, doing good works … things of that nature. Dharma is walking the right path … which, in the Indian faiths, they say, is ‘as narrow as the edge of a razor’. It’s that carefully that we must consider our actions and our thought forms in order to walk the right path.

And this is in opposition to the concept of karma … tit for tat. Following the law of karma results in repetitions of the wheel of karma through the many reincarnations.

So, why do that? Why mortify the flesh? Why cause injury to ourselves, and why cause injury to others?

Also, in terms of the new DNA … the opening of the DNA of the body cells … As you know, love and joy and light are the nature of the universe; of all creation. And these are also the nature of the body cells.

Unless our body cells are bathed in the energies of love and light and joy, they can’t hold the new light, and the DNA cannot open from 2- to 12-strand.

So, for us to survive physically in the New Reality … in the new light of Earth … we must cherish and promote the qualities of love and light and joy in this physical form.

Every instant, let us consider: What is it that I must do now, to bathe my body cells in love and light and joy. You see? It requires constant awareness of our emotional state, and of physical discomfort, so that these may be alleviated. And so that the cells can return, suddenly, from damped-down-DNA holding of light, to the greater light that they’ve now become.

And this way we will keep our bodies and our emotions … all of our subtle bodies also … in tip-top form for many years to come.

TOXOPLASMA GONDII INFECTION MAY MAKE HUMANS MORE RISK-TAKING

I was just reading about our commensal micro-organisms, and I found out there’s a Protozoan called Toxoplasma gondii that is found in 22-84 percent of humans. (1)

In the United States, about 11% of the population is infected with Toxoplasma gondii (2), whereas in France, the infection rate is 84%. (3) Incidence is higher in developed countries.

Apparently, infection with this Protozoan makes humans more risk-taking (less risk-averse). (1)

SUGGESTED CLINICAL TRIALS

The Risk-Taking Subtype of Antisocial Personality Disorder Patients and Toxoplasmosis

One subtype of antisocial personalities is ‘risk-taking’ …

Subtype: “Risk-taking antisocial (including histrionic features)”
Features: “Dauntless, venturesome, intrepid, bold, audacious, daring; reckless, foolhardy, heedless; unfazed by hazard; pursues perilous ventures.”

Thus it might be good to run a clinical trial on patients diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder, Subtype Risk-taking to determine the incidence of toxoplasmosis.

Delinquency or HIV / AIDS and Toxoplasmosis

I’ve read that in HIV / AIDS patients, toxoplasmosis can cause serious or even fatal illness. (3)

There is some association of HIV / AIDS infection with delinquency and risk-taking. (4)

For instance, I’ve read that various stages of HIV / AIDS are associated with different levels of risk-taking with regard to the disease. For instance, high risk behaviors precede testing positive. Once there is a positive test, then risk reducing behaviors may take place. If the disease is quiescent, then a patient may, to some extent, resume risk taking behaviors. Then if AIDS is diagnosed, risk reducing behaviors may resume. (5)

If the disease of toxoplasmosis itself contributes to risk taking, and contraction of HIV associates to risk-taking, then there might be a personality trait of risk taking, and a disease producing risk-taking behavior that aggravates the underlying personality trait.

Thus, theoretically, if HIV / AIDS patients also have toxoplasmosis, treatment for toxoplasmosis might prolong their lives by ceasing to aggravate the risk-taking personality trait.

Thus It might be helpful to run a clinical trial on incidence of toxoplasmosis among delinquents, and among HIV / AIDS patients, to see if there is a higher incidence in these populations.

Smoking, Alcohol Addiction, or Recreational Drug Addiction and Toxoplasmosis

It would make sense to run a clinical trial on addicts, whether to nicotene, to alcohol, or to recreational drugs, to determine whether toxoplasmosis plays a role in these risk-taking behaviors.

Bad Drivers and Toxoplasmosis

On the assumption that bad drivers may be people with risk-taking personalities, it might be good to run a clinical trial on this population, to see if toxoplasmosis plays a role in bad driving.

FUTURE TOXOPLASMOSIS TESTING AND TREATMENT PROGRAMS

If any of the above populations turn out to have a higher incidence of toxoplasmosis, then testing and treating them as needed (6) might be undertaken in future.

Dear Ones,

This blog is on Schumann resonances, solar winds, and human wellbeing. This is just a glimpse forward, not a set of conclusions. I’m hoping to open a line of inquiry along these lines.

SCHUMANN RESONANCE

A Schumann resonance is an electric charge that sometimes occurs in the space between the surface of the ground and 55 or so km above it, where the ionosphere begins. This space is termed an ‘electromagnetic cavity’. Lightning storms are what create the electrical activity in this cavity. (1)

EFFECT OF EARTH’S EMF TILT AND OF SOLAR WINDS ON LIGHTNING

This electromagnetic cavity is squished or expanded as the electromagnetic field of Earth shifts in response to solar winds fluctuating in strength, and in response to sunspots.

Shifts in Earth’s EMF tilt take place, on average, every 10-15 days. A study was done in the UK showing that when Earth’s EMF pointed towards the Sun, lighting happened over the UK 40-60% more frequently. (2) Thus there would be more electric charge, with potentially greater Schumann resonance, when Earth’s EMF points toward the Sun.

Another study (3) has been done showing that high-speed solar winds increase lightning strikes by 32% for a month or more after the solar wind event.

Thus, the lightning charge held by the electromagnetic cavity between the ground and the ionosphere is increased by sunward tilt of Earth’s EMF and by buffeting of Earth’s EMF by high-speed solar winds.

I’m guessing that the higher the charge, the more the likelihood of higher Schumann resonances, should they occur.

SCHUMANN WAVES ARE ENHANCED BY LIGHTNING STRIKES

Sometimes the energy of lightning strikes, which is trapped between the surface of the earth and 55-60 miles above that, combines and creates what NASA terms the “repeating atmospheric heartbeat” of Earth. (4) These Schumann resonances only occur when the electromagnetic waves created by lightning are as long as Earth’s circumference (or a multiple of that).

PROPOSED EFFECT OF SCHUMANN RESONANCE ON HUMAN IMMUNE SYSTEM, VERSUS EFFECT OF ARTIFICIAL EMF FIELDS

I propose that the energy of the human electromagnetic field (EMF) torus may be enhanced by being bathed in Schumann resonances.

What effect might these resonances have on human health? A study done through Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington in 1992 (5) showed that:

  • the healthy human body operates at 62-68 Hz in daytime
  • at 58 MHz, cold and flu may occur (one MHz = 106 Hz)
  • at 55 MHz, Candida may occur
  • at 52 MHz, Epstein Barr,
  • at 42 MHz, cancer
  • at 25 MHz, death

Extra low frequencies from power lines, electricity in house walls, and household appliances, are 50-60 Hz (6); thus artificial ELF may contribute to human disease, as is anecdotally found online. How this might be so, when human disease issues are at 10x higher frequency, I’m not sure, unless through some form of harmonic ‘bump-up’ …

Schumann resonances occur at even lower frequencies than those of power lines. We find Schumann resonances in the following cycles per second:  7.8, 14, 20, 26, 33, 39 and 45 Hz. (7) It must be that these resonances are better for human health than the artificial ELFs of power lines, or we would not be noticing a negative discrepancy because of lack of exposure to natural ELFs.

Occult texts term 7.8 Hz the frequency of Om, or the heartbeat of Earth. (8) This implies a positive effect on the human psyche through the Schumann resonances.

To that, all I can think to add is that Schumann resonances are part of the natural EMF background of the evolution of human beings on Earth. Were they innately bad for our health, then another genetic makeup of human beings would have been naturally selected to optimize our health given the EMF makeup of the planet, including the effect of Schumann resonances.

On the other hand, artificial sources of EMF on the planet are bad for health, and these sources of EMF differ in frequency from the frequency of Schumann resonances. I feel it likely that the reason these artificial sources of EMF are bad for our health is that they don’t harmonize with the Schumann resonances.

THOUGHTS ON THE EFFECT OF SCHUMANN RESONANCES ON SPECIFIC HUMAN BRAIN WAVES

Human cells have a very slight negative potential; the flow of electrical impulses across the cell membrane is a feature of the human nervous system.

The very slight electric energies of the human nervous system might be anticipated to be influenced by their being bathed in Schumann resonances.

Human brain waves are as follows (9):

  • Delta wave – (0.2 – 3 Hz) – sleeping, dreaming, or deep dreamless state (10)
  • Theta wave – (4 – 7 Hz) – drowsy or daydreaming state
  • Alpha wave – (8 – 13 Hz) – relaxed or reflecting state
  • Mu wave – (7.5 – 12.5 Hz) – voluntary movement (11)
  • SMR wave – (12.5 – 15.5 Hz) – sensorimotor rhythm, a state of ‘awakened calm” (8)
  • Beta wave – (16 – 31 Hz) – alert state
  • Gamma wave – (32 – 100 Hz) – creativity (10), blessedness, compassion, happiness, self-control, very high levels of cognitive functioning. (12) Could it be this wave is associated with mind power expansion and mastery of mind, as taught by the Alpha Centaurians? (13)

About the Thalamus

I note that it originates in the thalamus, which is quite close to both the pituitary gland and the pineal gland in the brain (14) ; in yogic technology, these two glands are associated to the third-eye point and the crown chakra.

The thalamus apparently is the rhythmic generator or ‘pacemaker’ that triggers brain waves. (15)

LINING UP PATANJALI’S LEVELS OF CONSCIOUSNESS WITH MODERN BRAIN WAVES

Patanjali (16) posits 7 levels of consciousness:

  • waking consciousness: vaishvaanara – similar to beta waves?
  • unmani transition state – might this be alpha waves?
  • dreaming or unconscious state: taijasa – similar to theta waves?
  • aladani transition state
  • deep sleep and the subconscious state: prajna – similar to delta waves?
  • samadhi or bliss – might this be a transition state? – and

If in fact there is a similarity, then a slight rearrangement of Patanjali’s list might make this clear:

  • turiya … which may possibly be a state of neutral mind, mindfulness, pristine mind, or ‘no mind’  – similar to gamma waves?
  • waking consciousness: vaishvaanara – similar to beta waves?
  • unmani transition state – might this be alpha waves?
  • dreaming or unconscious state: taijasa – similar to theta waves?
  • aladani transition state
  • deep sleep and the subconscious state: prajna – similar to delta waves?
  • samadhi or bliss – might this be a transition state?

So now, Patanjali’s list reads like a backwards version of the brain wave list above it (minus the mu and SMR waves), which would be: Delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma

SCHUMANN RESONANCES MAY AFFECT HUMAN WELLBEING AND BEHAVIOR

Now, back to Schumann resonances and brain waves. It seems to me likely that:

  • Schumann resonance 7.8 would stimulate theta wave activity in the human brain – possibly similar to the taijasa of Patanjali
  • Schumann resonance 14 would stimulate SMR (sensorimotor rhythm) wave activity in the human brain – no correlation with Patanjali
  • Schumann resonances 20 and 26 would stimulate beta wave activity in the human brain – possibly similar to the vaishvaanara of Patanjali; and
  • Schumann resonances of 33, 39 and 45 would stimulate gamma wave activity in the human brain – possibly similar to the turiya of Patanjali

Since brain waves affect human wellbeing and behavior, it would follow that Schumann resonances affect human wellbeing and behavior.

The big sunspot that caused the X-flares a few weeks back is returning to Earth-facing. There was a preview today, just as it started to be visible on the NOAA videos. It looked to me like a pretty large eruption was taking place; I’ve outlined how big it looks to me to have been, although the NOAA screen cuts it off …

SO is keeping a good thought, that flaring will be less this time around.

Of course, it’s always best to keep emergency supplies on hand so as to be prepared for natural disasters. For instance, there’s the Puerto Rico disaster just now, which I heard yesterday may result in a power grid outage all over Puerto Rico for about 2 months.

I note that the 13 March 1989 Quebec Province power grid failure, to do with a solar flare, lasted only 12 hours, though. So that’s a good thing. NASA mentions the following effects, which are worth considering:

“During the 12-hour blackout that followed, millions of people suddenly found themselves in dark office buildings and underground pedestrian tunnels, and in stalled elevators. Most people woke up to cold homes for breakfast. From this I gather it would be good to stay away from tunnels and elevators, and not to rely on public transportation, at times when X-class CMEs are due to arrive at Earth.

I note that the 1989 Canadian power grid failure had to do with 2 large Earth-directed X flares, one on the heels of the other … This was not a Carrington event, however …
